AKIRA’S PARTICIPATIONS AND RECORDS IN THE MEDIA
I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Akira Ninomiya in 2015 in Reno, Nevada, at the National Conference of the Association for Conflict Resolution. I was very impressed with his commitment to mediation and his vision to adapt mediation methodologies to the conflict resolution needs of his country. The explosive growth of RePacificar is proof of Akira Ninomiya’s leadership, commitment, and vision to raise awareness and support conflict resolution among schools, inter-religious organizations, families, and organizations.
I am here to speak about a friend who accepted the invitation to be a peacemaker, and therefore became a catalyst, attracting more and more hearts to the construction of a culture of peace. Akira and his RePacificar project have built bridges, transformed lives, schools, and the community.
I have observed the peace work carried out by Akira and am very impressed with his commitment and dedication. If only our world could have more people like him, peace would become a reality.
